I COULD SHOP EVERYDAY

This week I visited Liverpool John Moors, to look at the Fashion course they have on offer, whilst there I also snuck some time in for shopping!

I very rarely shop in River Island, as I find it abit girly. However on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised!

Whilst there I brought this beautiful jacket, featuring seams, a peplum and a exposed zip. The jacket is tight fitting and so flattering, and it was only £40!

I also brought this top, which features a peplum, and v-neck. I love the texture and fabric used on the top, whilst the top is sparkly its not in your face. This top is a steal, for just £18.

SHOOT WITH HELEN FLANAGAN

Last Monday I assisted on a shoot for "The People" with Helen Flanagan, at Photo Link Manchester.

The shoot went really well, and we captured some strong shots.

GEMMA MERNA SHOOT

Last month, I worked with Martine styling Gemma Merna on behalf of Very. 

The clothes where already chosen, as it was a shoot for the trend Very run "Drama Queen". The trend features a celebrity each season, and this upcoming season is Gemma.

 

SKETCHBOOK WORK

During Summer I visited the V&A and was truly inspired by the mens 1800 permanent collection. I love the slick tailoring, and feel that using  key features from this period, could translate into a strong womanswear design, and features. 

I also looked into the colours, and fabrics of the era and collected swatches according. 

Here are some rough designs, incorporating key features of the decade. There is a lot more work and improving that can be done.

BARCELONA

During summer, I went to spain with my family whilst there we hired a car and visited the surrounding area. 

One of the places was Barcelona, a beautiful, beautiful city!! It was SO hot, I couldn't bare to explore all the city, but would love to go back when its cooler and check out what Barcelona has to offer!
